Lambton County will host an open house at Clearwater Library on Saturday, June 15.
Residents will have the opportunity to explore the resources at the library, win prizes and take part in physical activity at the Clearwater Arena.
There will also be a wide-range of activities including a family story time, seed bomb making, a hands on digging experience with archeologist Leeanne Doxtator, face painting and an open skate session at the arena.
"We're excited to invite the community to our open house, so we can show-off this new library space," said Library Services Manager Darlene Cook. "While public libraries can often still be known for their collection of books, it is important to recognize that today public libraries are dynamic community meeting places where people of all ages spend time and can learn, play and grow."
The open house will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The Clearwater Library officially opened to the public in early April.
