Charges laid following drug seizure on Cotterbury St.

Two Sarnia women are facing multiple charges in connection to a drug investigation on Cotterbury Street.

City police told Sarnia News Today that members of the Emergency Response Team and the Criminal Investigations Division searched a residence on Cotterbury Street, near Maxwell Street, on March 27.

Approximately $13,176 worth of drugs was seized, including a large amount of fentanyl, prescription pain pills, and cash.

Officers seized the following items:

- 87.84 grams of fentanyl

- 15.67 g of cocaine

- 13.74 g of crystal methamphetamine

- 12 Ecstasy pills

- 84 – eight milligram Dilaudid pills

- 98 – nine mg Hydromorphone Contin pills

- 3 – 18 mg Hydromorphone Contin pills

- $2,990 in Canadian currency and $286 in American currency

Sarnia police said 62-year-old Shelley Campbell and 59-year-old Nathalie Landry-Sutherland were both charged with six counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

Charges against the accused have not been proven in court.

They were both held in police custody pending a bail hearing.
