Search warrant turns up weapons at Napier Street home

Four people face weapons charges, and an arrest warrant has been issued for a fifth, after Sarnia police executed a search warrant at a Napier Street residence on Friday.

Officers allegedly seized a loaded .22 caliber hunting rifle, located in close proximity to the front door, ammunition, five grams of fentanyl, and several hunting rifles.

Two 18-year-olds, a 70-year-old, and a 71-year-old, are each facing charges including careless storage of a firearm, careless storage of ammunition, and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.

An 18-year-old man is also charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Police said they're searching for Dakota Bressette, 22, of Sarnia. He's facing weapons charges and failure to comply with a release order.

Anyone with information on Bressette's whereabouts is asked to contact the Sarnia Police Criminal Investigations Division.
