Sting double Spitfires 4-2 in Windsor

Alex Cajkovic scored his first goal in a Sting jersey and added an assist as Sarnia downed the Spitfires 4-2 Thursday night in Windsor (14-28-4).

Carter Kostuch, Marko Sikic and Daylen Moses rounded out the attack for the Sting (18-26-3).

Goalie Nick Surzycia made 28 saves in net.

The Sting are ninth in the OHL Western Conference, just two points behind the Flint Firebirds for the eighth and final playoff spot.

Sarnia is back at home Friday night at Progressive Auto Sales Arena to face the visiting Ottawa 67s at 7:05 p.m.

The Windsor Spitfires will be looking to even the score when they visit Sarnia Sunday night. Puck drop is at 7 p.m.

The Sting have won four of five meetings with the Spitfires this season.
