Three Sarnia residents have been charged after city police seized over $11,000 worth of drugs.
Members of the Sarnia Police Vice Unit and Emergency Response Team searched a residence in the area of Walnut Avenue and Oak Avenue on January 10.
During the investigation, officers seized approximately 94.1 grams of powder cocaine, 1.68 grams of crack cocaine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, and $1,600 in cash.
Police said the total estimated street value of the drugs seized was $11,460.
A 43-year-old woman, a 42-year-old man, and a 40-year-old man were arrested and face joint charges for possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession of property obtained by crime.
The accused were released from police custody with future court dates.
