Local Immigration Partnership hosts New Year's festival

The Sarnia Lambton Local Immigration Partnership is hosting a New Year's Eve celebration, which will feature several different cultural activities.

The Festival of Cultures will be held on December 31 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Suncor Agora at Centennial Park in Sarnia.

There will be a wide array of entertainment including: a live DJ, dancers, a violinist, a balloon artist, and a magician.

The family-friendly event is free to attend. However, homemade goods and food will be for sale, only cash will be accepted.

Festivities will conclude with a fireworks display at 6 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to dress warm for the outdoor event.

As specified in a social media post, Sarnia Transit will be offering free bussing services to the Festival of Cultures.
