Secret Santa Shoppe open for business

A special holiday store for kids to get their Christmas shopping done opens Friday.

Pathways Health Centre for Children is once again holding its annual Secret Santa Shoppe.

Kids can purchase new wrapped gifts for the special people on their Christmas lists, while parents and caregivers take a coffee break in the café.

Spokesperson Marcy Draker said presents range from $5 to $20.

"We have never done registration until COVID times, but if you want to register and get a shop time and date that works for your family on your calendar that's great, but if you want to walk in, please just show up," said Draker.

Spokesperson Julie Ingles said it's their largest fundraiser of the year.

"Last year Pathways assisted over 4,000 children and youth in Sarnia-Lambton with physical, developmental and communication needs," said Ingles. So some really important work that we do at Pathways and we're really proud of that work.

The Shoppe at the Murphy Road facility is open November 17 through the 19, and November 24 to the 26.

Kids can also shop with members of the Sarnia Sting on November 22, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Murphy Road facility.

For shop operating hours visit the Pathways Health Centre for Children website.
