Cackling Cauldrons event planned at Oil Museum

The Oil Museum of Canada is hosting a family friendly event Saturday to get everyone in a spooky spirit.

Cackling Cauldrons: A Trick-or-Treat Event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Educational Program Coordinator Christina Sydorko said they're excited to host the event again this year.

“We are part of a rural community, and we offer a safe environment for kids to trick-or-treat away from the roadways," said Sydorko. "This is a great opportunity to get kids in the Halloween spirit and enjoy some festivities here at the museum.”

Children are encouraged to wear costumes and trick-or-treat through the historic buildings.

There will also be Halloween themed crafts and games in the museum.

The event is free, thanks to sponsorship from Shell Canada, and no registration is required.
