River City Vineyard (RCV) has partnered with Refined Fool to host a "Charity Takeover Night" in order to raise funds to support its shelter.
The fundraiser will take place on November 1 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the brewery's London Road location in Sarnia.
Fifteen per cent of food and drink sales will be donated to RCV, which is located at the intersection of Mitton Street North and Maria Street.
"This is our first time partnering with Refined Fool so we're pretty excited about that," said Worship Pastor Renee Card.
The event will also include a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, and live music from approximately 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Card said the band will consist of musicians from RCV.
"The money that we raise from this evening will go towards the operational costs of running the current shelter, and we're hoping that some of it can go towards putting a new roof on our gymnasium because that's becoming a quite apparent need. That's the last roof that needs to be completed," said Card.

RCV's sanctuary provides shelter for 25 men, according to its website. Through an expansion project, RCV plans to open 40 additional beds, with the women's side to open first.
"But we will only be doing a slow open to start," Card said. "So we will probably, to start, [open] one or two beds at a time and then just open as we have the staff, finances, and resources to open more beds."
Meanwhile, RCV will celebrate its 35th anniversary as a church on Sunday, November 5. A special service led by National Director of Vineyard Canada David Ruis will take place at 10 a.m.
