Chamber survey to help craft organization's Ontario Economic Report

Local chamber members are being asked to help craft the Ontario Chamber's landmark research platform.

The Sarnia-Lambton Chamber has launched its annual Business Confidence Survey.

Marketing Coordinator Robin Cooke said the information is used to compile the 2024 Ontario Economic Report which is then shared with the province's decision makers.

"The Ontario Chamber of Commerce is a big network, so what we're telling the government, it's taken into consideration with the policies," she said.

Cooke said the survey, available until November 10, is looking for business leader's insights on issues that matter to them.

"How confident are they in the Ontario economy, they'll be questions asked about mental health, very important," she said. "What their organization provides for them, what is required more so."

Cooke said it's also asking members about their feeling towards the provincial government.

"Their confidence in the programs that the government is putting forward, what they think is needed, how they prioritize their needs from the government, whether we need more grants, more education," she said.
