Multiple road closures are scheduled to take place in St. Clair Township throughout the month of September for Enbridge's Dawn to Corunna replacement project.
The company was given approval last year to proceed with plans to replace aging infrastructure and install a new steel pipeline between the Corunna Compressor Station and the Dawn Operations Centre.
Work on the $251 million project began in June.
Construction on roads such as Courtright Line and Waubuno Road took place in August, however, work was delayed due to wet weather conditions.
Upcoming closures for the month of September are listed below.
Beginning Tuesday, September 5: Kimball Road will be closed between Courtright Line and Moore Line.
Beginning Monday, September 11: Telfer Road will be closed between Courtright Line and Oil Springs Line, and Brigden Road will be closed between Oil Springs Line and Bickford Line.
Beginning Monday, September 18: Bickford Line will be closed between Brigden Road and Waterworks Road, and McCallum Line will be closed between Brigden Road and Mandaumin Road.
Beginning Monday, September 25: Stanley Line will be closed between Brigden Road and Mandaumin Road, and Mandaumin Road will be closed between Burman Line and McCallum Line.
Sections of Oil Springs Line will also be closed beginning September 25, however, more details about this specific closure will be shared at a later date.
Construction is expected to be completed in November 2023.
