The Sarnia Brigade have captured the Southwestern Senior Baseball League championship.
The club defeated Ilderton 3-2 in Saturday's championship game, in come from behind fashion.
Keegan Brandon came to the plate with the Brigade down 2-1, and ripped a ball to the wall that scored Eric Steeves to tie the game.
Brandon would put pressure on the Ilderton defense and force an error, scoring on the play to give Sarnia the title.
Mitch Bigras homered in the final game, while Jake Taylor picked up the win in relief of Jake Burgess.
Earlier in the day, Sarnia walked off Strathroy 6-5 in the semi-final, with Derek Masse pitching a complete game. Cole Brydges had the winning hit, and Braedan MacDonald scored the winning run.
Logan Buntrock tossed a complete game win in game one of the day in a 4-1 win over Ilderton.
The Brigade won their third straight pennant on Sunday, August 13 as regular season champions.
