OPP allege suspect caught with stolen credit card

A 43-year-old man has been arrested after Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say he tried to use a stolen credit card at a business in Plympton-Wyoming.

Officers were called to the store on London Line just after 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, for a report of someone trying to use a suspicious card.

Police said the man fled the business when questioned, but was located by police a short distance away.

The suspect was charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

He was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in court on August 28.
