Lambton OPP caught up with and arrested a driver who allegedly fled an attempted traffic stop Wednesday night.
At around 8:20 p.m., police located a vehicle on Tashmoo Avenue in Sarnia which had failed to stop for police earlier in the evening.
Officers were able to converge on the vehicle as it entered a parking lot, and the driver was taken into custody.
A 38-year-old man of no fixed address is charged with dangerous operation, flight from a peace officer, resisting a peace officer, driving while under suspension, using an unauthorized plate, and operating a vehicle without insurance.
The accused's vehicle was also subject to a 45-day impound.
The suspect has been released from custody and was given a future court date.
