People will be dancing in the street in downtown Sarnia this weekend.
The 6th annual 'Beats on the Street' is on rain or shine.
A portion of the proceeds from the two-day outdoor music event, featuring over a dozen DJs and musicians, food and drinks, will benefit The Fresh Start Project: (TFSP) Sarnia Area. The group helps individuals and families transition from a shelter to independent living.
4Korners, Toronto Raptors official DJ, will headline Friday night and rapper and Canada's Got Talent judge Kardinal Offishall will take to the stage Saturday night.
Over the years, Beats on the Street has raised over $15,000 for various local charities including Noelle's Gift, St. Clair Child and Youth Services and St. Joseph's Hospice.
The event at Davis-Craft Kitchen and Bar [Formerly Refined Fool] at 137 Davis St. is on from 7 p.m. to midnight both Friday and Saturday.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate.
Advance tickets, and line-up details are available online at www.revelree.ca.
