An arrest warrant has been issued for a 33-year-old Sarnia man after a break and enter over the weekend.
At around 11:40 a.m. Saturday, Sarnia police responded to a report of a theft from a home under renovation on Lakeshore Road near Blackwell Side Road.
Witness reported seeing a suspicious man leaving the area on a bicycle.
Police said a suspect was later found and detained in the area of Wiltshire Drive and Edgewood Street, where tools were seized.
At the time, police were unable to confirm the tools came from the Lakeshore Road address. They said a follow up investigation confirmed the cyclist was allegedly responsible for the break and enter.
Daniel Animkee Wolfe Plain is wanted for break and enter to commit theft, theft under $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000 and breaching probation.
