Shauna Banks, 34, was reported missing Wednesday morning after she was last seen in the late afternoon of Sunday, March 12 in the area of Confederation Street and Brock Street.
Police said Wednesday afternoon that Banks had been found safe.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
