A 40-year-old man from Strathroy-Caradoc is accused of driving while impaired after a single-vehicle collision was reported early Wednesday morning.
Lambton OPP said officers were dispatched to the scene on Zion Line at 2:30 a.m. after they were contacted by local residents.
The driver was taken to an OPP detachment, where police said he provided two breath samples above the legal limit.
As a result, he was charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia at a later date.
Meanwhile, Lambton OPP are investigating a two-vehicle crash that happened late Tuesday afternoon in St. Clair Township.
A passenger vehicle and commercial vehicle collided at around 5:45 p.m. at the intersection of Mandaumin Road and Courtright Line.
OPP said no injuries were reported at the time.
