Drug trafficking charges have been laid after Sarnia police seized over $28,000 worth of drugs as part of a weapons investigation that started in October.
Members of the Vice Unit started investigating a suspect in the fall who allegedly possessed firearms despite being under a weapons prohibition.
Officers searched a residence in the area of Cardiff Drive and Murphy Road Thursday evening at around 5:51 p.m.
Police seized an estimated combined total of $28,328 worth of drugs and over 3,600 rounds of ammunition.

- 322.09 grams of crystal methamphetamine
- 66.71 grams of fentanyl
- 4.58 grams of cocaine
- Digital scales
- Drug packaging
- $3,360 in currency
- .22 calibre rifle (loaded)
- Double barrel 20 gauge shotgun
- Single barrel 20 gauge shotgun
- Crossbow
- 8 pellet guns
As a result of the seizure, 41-year-old David Joseph Bagnarol of Sarnia was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. Police said he also faces "numerous counts" related to firearm offences.
He remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
Sarnia police also said a warrant has been requested for 30-year-old Skylar Ann Sikosi for three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, along with numerous firearm-related offences.
Charges against the accused have not been proven in court.
