A special holiday music show is returning to Sarnia's Imperial Theatre this December following a two year hiatus.
Rock and Roll Christmas will be held on December 16 and 17, after COVID forced the cancellation of the popular show in 2020 and 2021.
Executive Director Brian Austin Jr. said the 15-piece ensemble, made up entirely of local talent, has been playing shows at the theatre since 2014.
"There's violins, saxophone, piano, guitar, bass, and drums," said Austin Jr. "They perform everything. They do their take on the Trans Siberian Orchestra, they've got dueling drums, they've got skits featuring David Bowie and Bing Crosby, and they've had elves playing guitar. So, it's really entertaining, it's theatrical, it's rock and roll and it's a fantastic night out."
Tickets are $39 and go on sale Friday October 14, 2022 at 9 a.m. online at www.imperialtheatre.net
The Imperial Theatre box office is open Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
