In three weeks, the Sarnia-Lambton United Way campaign has raised just over $500,000.
Executive Director Dave Brown said that's about 31 per cent of the $1.65 million needs target.
"We're right on target where we want to be relative to last year," said Brown. "We're hoping that momentum is going to carry us through, and certainly with all the kickoffs we've got in the next two or three weeks, we're hopeful that they will, at least in the short term."
Brown said so far 1200 donors have contributed to the campaign.
He said the LCBO point of sale fundraiser is in its final week. Last year, the initiative raised about $33,000.
The United Way of Sarnia-Lambton funds 17 agencies providing over 31 programs and services to the community.
