About 250 people gathered at Sarnia's Canatara Park on Sunday for the annual Terry Fox Run.
Organizer Laurie Rome said the 2022 event has raised $46,747 so far, and donations are still coming in. It was the first in-person event since the start of the pandemic in 2020, forcing the event to be held virtually.
In Petrolia, this year's Terry Fox Run is estimated to have collected over $25,000 for cancer research and in Alvinston, 68 participants raised just under $8,000.
Donations can be made online at www.terryfox.org until the end of the year.
