No warnings posted at area beaches

Lake Huron beaches tested weekly for water quality have been given the all clear for swimming as we head into the weekend.

Lambton Public Health conducts sampling at Grand Bend, Pinery Provincial Park, Ipperwash Main Beach, C.J McEwan, Bright’s Grove and Canatara Park beaches.

The health unit said no warning signs were posted as of Friday morning.

We’re reminded that following heavy rainfall, the water at area beaches may be temporarily polluted for up to 48 hours.

Residents can also text the word BEACH to 226-909-3003 or call the Beach Info Line at 519-383-3816.

Water sampling is not conducted along the St. Clair River.
