Environment Canada is forecasting strong winds on Thursday in Sarnia-Lambton.
The national weather agency said westerly winds gusting up to 70 kilometres per hour are expected early in the morning as a cold front moves through the region.
Although the strong wind gusts may ease slightly in the early afternoon, winds are expected to shift to the southwest in the late afternoon with gusts up to 70 km/h possible. Winds are expected to ease slowly through Thursday evening.
Strong winds combined with saturated ground conditions may make it easier for damage to trees to occur.
We're urged to secure loose objects, and power outages are possible.
