CANstruction 2022 winners unveiled

Awards were handed out Sunday afternoon at Lambton Mall for this year's CANstruction event.

The award for Best Use of Theme, Making Hunger History, went to ReMax.

Best use of labels went to Pembina for their CAN Tut display. The structure also took home the award for Judge's Favourite.

Cope Construction won Best Rookie Team and Best Meal went to Shell.

Franco-Jeunesse, Centre Communautaire Francophone took home the Junior Award and Carpenters Union 1256 won both Most Cans and Structural Ingenuity.

There were 11 teams that participated in the event's ninth year benefitting the Inn of the Good Shepherd.

The structures will remain on display at Lambton Mall until April 12, and residents can vote for their favourite until April 10.

The one that raises the most money will be awarded People's Choice.
