Environment Canada has ended a winter weather travel advisory for north and east Lambton county.
The weather agency posted the advisory shortly after 10 a.m. Tuesday -- it was lifted at around 11:30 a.m.
An area off of Lake Huron, from Lambton Shores to the Thedford region, was expected to get hit by snowfall amounts of five to 10 centimetres by early afternoon. Lake effect snow was forecast to gradually ease through the morning.
Motorists were being reminded to prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
