A fun-filled night of music at Imperial Theatre in Sarnia will support the Huron House Boys' Home to the tune of over $5,000.
A few bands, including Bad Men Association (BMA) from Brights Grove, played for a crowd Sunday night.
BMA Drummer Kraig Durco said the final total is still being tallied but a donation of over $5,000 will be made to the home this week, just before Christmas.
Durco said Sunday's show was the biggest event for BMA, as they just recently formed in early 2020.
"It was nice being in front of the hometown crowd and it's just great that everyone came out," he said. "Just want to thank Texas King, Loviet, and all the crew. I think everyone there had a good time."
Due to provincial capacity restrictions which came into effect this past weekend, the event was smaller than initially anticipated.
"There were still people asking for tickets but we were sold out because of restrictions but we hope to do it again. [We'll] do it bigger next year and hopefully, sell out all 600 seats next time," said Durco. "We made it work and it couldn't have gone any better."
Durco said as they look ahead to future events in support of the boys' home, there's also potential to support other local organizations as well.
