The Sarnia Sting rebounded from a home ice 7-5 loss to Windsor Friday with a 3-2 win in London Saturday.
Brights Grove native Nolan DeGurse led the way for the Sting with two goals and an assist.
Nolan Dann opened the scoring at the 4:16 mark of the first period on the power play assisted by DeGurse and Ryan Mast,
Landon Sim replied for the Knights at 7:59 of the period.
At the 7:46 mark of the second frame DeGurse tallied for Sarnia on the power play with assists going to Mast and Ty Voit.
Less than a minute later Isaiah George scored for London short handed to tie the game heading into the third.
DeGurse scored the game winning goal unassisted at the 15:49 mark.
Following the game first star DeGurse said "Coming back after last night's (Friday) effort on the bus we knew we needed a big bounce back effort and I thought we did a good job tonight."
Sarnia used three goalies in the game. Benjamin Gaudreau stopped nine of ten shots in the first period while Dylan Grover turned aside two of three shots in the second before being replaced by Anson Thornton who faced 25 shots.
The Sting host the Kitchener Rangers Sunday at 2:00 p.m. The pregame show starts at 1:30 p.m. on 103.9 FM - 1070 AM CHOK.
