The national weather advisory said a passing cold front will result in strong westerly winds Monday.
Winds with gusts of 70 to 90 kilometres an hour are expected into the evening hours.
Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings and break branches off trees. Power outages are also possible.
