In a message shared through Community Awareness Emergency Response, the company said the incident occurred at around 2 p.m. and the issue was quickly isolated.
An all clear was declared at 2:40 p.m.
NOVA said air monitoring is ongoing and showed no off-site readings.
Onsite activities will continue to be monitored and managed by NOVA personnel.
The completed study is slated to be presented to council in late September.
