Sting acquire defenceman from Barrie

The Sarnia Sting have added a new defenceman to the mix.

The team has acquired the rights to Ryan Pryce from the Barrie Colts, in exchange for a conditional sixth round draft pick in 2024.

The 17-year-old Toronto native spent the 2019-20 season with the Vaughan Kings of the Greater Toronto Hockey League. He had a goal and six assists in 32 games.

The Sting will welcome players for training camp next week ahead of the 2021 OHL pre-season, which begins on Friday, September 3rd as the Sting visit the London Knights at Budweiser Gardens.

The regular season kicks off October 7 in Windsor.
