A 64-year-old Sarnia man will be without a ride for a couple of weeks after a vehicle was allegedly caught travelling nearly double the speed limit Thursday morning.
Lambton County OPP said an observant officer clocked a vehicle driving 140 kilometres per hour on Mandaumin Road near Bentpath Line, shortly before 7 a.m.
The road has a posted speed limit of 80 km/hr.
OPP said the driver faces a seven-day licence suspension and 14-day vehicle impoundment.
