COVID caseload holds steady

There were no new COVID-19 cases and two more resolved cases reported in Sarnia-Lambton Sunday morning.

Lambton Public Health is reporting 10 active cases, down two from Saturday.  Active infections topped out at 243 back in March.

Active outbreaks are still at one.  The health unit reported an outbreak at Afton Park Place June 25.

There have been 3,625 confirmed cases, 63 COVID-related deaths, and 3,552 resolved cases reported over the course of the pandemic.

On Friday, Bluewater Health was reporting one COVID-positive patient in hospital.

Nine young volunteers aged 11 to 17 spent three days exploring and protecting the Lake Huron coastline during the Coastal Conservation Youth Corps' inaugural program in Grand Bend from July 21 to 23.
