Police ramp up enforcement near Canatara Park

Lambton OPP and Sarnia police laid 19 charges over the past two days as officers ramped up enforcement in the Canatara Park area.

Police were addressing ongoing complaints on Alfred Street, Sandy Lane, and at the Christina Street park entrance.

Charges laid included speeding, stunt driving, and having improper vehicle modifications.

Police said the area will see similar enforcement over the next several months in hopes of educating drivers and enforcing local traffic laws.

If you see a driver you suspect may be impaired, or driving erratically, you're urged to call 911.
