Charges laid in Lambton Shores assault

A London resident is facing several charges after allegedly assaulting someone at a residence in Lambton Shores.

Provincial police were called Tuesday night at 10:15 p.m. about an assault involving a weapon.

Lambton OPP said the victim drove themselves to a hospital after suffering non-life threatening injuries.

As a result of the investigation, a 35-year-old from London was charged with aggravated assault, two counts of assault with a weapon, uttering threats, and three counts of failing to comply.

The 35-year-old was held in police custody pending a bail hearing.
