Another fall fair cancelled in Lambton

For the second year in a row, the Petrolia and Enniskillen Fall Fair has been cancelled.

The event, planned for September 10 through the 12, has been postponed once more due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

President of the Petrolia-Enniskillen Agricultural Society Demi Krall made the announcement in a Facebook post Wednesday.

"I'm sure you probably already saw this coming but as I said last year, we have to follow government rules and more importantly we have to do what's best for the health and safety of our community and volunteers," said Krall. "We hope to see you in 2022."

It's the second fall fair on the Lambton circuit to be cancelled for 2021.

Last month, the Plympton-Wyoming Agricultural Society cancelled its event, also scheduled for September.
