Lambton OPP arrested a wanted man in Petrolia just after midnight Monday.
Officers found a person known to them, with an outstanding warrant, walking down Petrolia Line, and he was arrested.
It's alleged the suspect tried to discard some items, but police eventually found suspected cocaine, methamphetamine and unknown pills with an estimated street value of $3,800.
Herbert McDonald, 45, of St. Clair Township, is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of methamphetamine.
He was released following a bail hearing.
