Cyclist injury not believed to be result of hit-and-run

Sarnia police say a cyclist found unconscious early Monday morning in the area of Brock Street and Davis Street was not the result of a hit-and-run.

Police believe the 50-year-old man suffered a head injury at around 5 a.m. when he lost control of his bicycle due to a medical issue.

He was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police thank the public for its help in the investigation.
