Sarnia-Lambton COVID cases up 17

Sarnia-Lambton's COVID-19 case count climbed by another 17 new cases Sunday to 2,018.

Lambton Public Health also reported six more recoveries over the past 24 hours for a total of 1,874, deaths remained unchanged at 46, putting the number of active cases at 98, an increase of 11 since Saturday.

There were still seven active institutional and workplace outbreaks.

Sunday morning Bluewater Health reported that there were still three patients in hospital with the virus.

As of 12:01 a.m. Monday, Lambton is moving up to the "Red-Control" level in Ontario's COVID-19 Response Framework.
