Young Petrolia spray painters ordered to clean up their act

A couple of spray paint vandals in Petrolia have been ordered to clean up their act.

Lambton OPP responded to complaints of youths tagging street signs, buildings and structures with graffiti at around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said two youths found with spray paint cans were asked to retrace their steps and show the locations they had defaced.

The pair were escorted home by police where they faced their parents and plans were agreed to, to either cleanup or replace the damaged property.

No charges have been laid and the youths names will not be released.

Lambton OPP are reminding residents to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or *OPP (677) on their mobile phones, to report suspicious activity.
