Sarnia-Lambton COVID caseload up 59 since Saturday

On its daily update Sunday morning Lambton Public Health reported 934 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Sarnia-Lambton since March 25th, an increase of 59.

Of those 598 have been deemed recovered, pushing the active cases of the virus to 262, up 13.

Outbreaks are down three to 16 and the death toll stands unchanged at 28.

Sunday Bluewater Health reported six COVID-positive patients in hospital.

Nine young volunteers aged 11 to 17 spent three days exploring and protecting the Lake Huron coastline during the Coastal Conservation Youth Corps' inaugural program in Grand Bend from July 21 to 23.
