Bluewater Power and Hydro One crews were kept busy Sunday as strong winds caused several outages in the region.
Environment Canada says a wind gust of 89 kilometres per hour was recorded at Chris Hadfield Airport.
The national weather agency had issued a wind warning advising of wind gusts up to 110 kilometres per hour across southwestern Ontario throughout the day Sunday, before diminishing early Monday morning.
Hydro Lines were brought down on Arthur Street in Point Edward when a tree fell. Downed branches and power lines were also blamed for outages in the Bright's Grove area, Sherwood Village and College Park.

Hydro One was reporting outages to over 186,000 customers across the province Monday morning.
Crews were still making repairs Monday to address scattered outages across Lambton County. Restoration times were unknown.
