Hwy. 402 collisions lead to impaired driving charges

Lambton OPP laid impaired driving charges following separate single-vehicle crashes on Highway 402 last week.

On September 16 at around 7:45 p.m., officers responded to a crash on the highway at Modeland Road in Sarnia.

Police said the driver, a 28-year-old Sarnia man, was displaying signs of impairment.

The suspect was arrested and provided two breath samples over the legal limit.

On September 19 at around 2:30 a.m., officers responded to a crash on Highway 402 in Plympton-Wyoming.

Police said the driver was arrested after displaying signs of impairment.

The suspect, a 19-year-old London woman, provided two breath samples over the legal limit.

Both of the accused have court dates in Sarnia later this year.
