A 39-year-old Chatham woman is facing criminal charges in a crash near Wallaceburg in March that killed two Sarnia residents.
Chatham-Kent OPP reported on Wednesday that Sarah Suitor is charged with two counts of impaired driving causing death, two counts of impaired driving causing death with excessive drug concentration, two counts of dangerous driving causing death, and possession of Fentanyl.
Shortly before 4:30 p.m. March 8, emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision on St. Clair Road between Border Road and Heritage Line.
Rose Hills, 87, was brought to the hospital where she later died from her injuries.
William Hills, 88, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Chatham on August 27, 2020.
