Suspects sought in Lambton Shores home invasion

Lambton OPP have released more details in connection with a home invasion earlier this month in Lambton Shores.

On Wednesday, July 8 at about 1 a.m., police say two suspects broke into a home on Lazy Lane, committed a robbery and fled.

OPP have now released detailed descriptions of the two male suspects.

The first is described as white, about 6'1" tall with a medium build. He had blonde hair with dyed green bangs and green or hazel eyes. Police say he was alleged to be wearing a black hoodie and black shoes at the time.

The second suspect is described as having brown skin and was about 5'6" tall with tattoos down his left arm. Police say the suspect spoke with an accent, possibly Middle Eastern or Portuguese, and was also wearing a black hoodie and black shoes.

Youth volunteers practice coastal conservation

Nine young volunteers aged 11 to 17 spent three days exploring and protecting the Lake Huron coastline during the Coastal Conservation Youth Corps' inaugural program in Grand Bend from July 21 to 23.
