Two Sarnia residents are facing drug trafficking charges after city police seized fentanyl from a north end motel room Thursday night.
VICE unit officers conducted a search warrant at around 9:15 p.m. and seized about 15.38 grams of fentanyl, $2,225 in Canadian currency, and other paraphernalia.
Amanda Catherine Gibson, 33, and Anthony Charles Cowling, 27, have been charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Both have been held in custody pending bail hearings.
