Petrolia council has approved a disinfecting and deep cleaning schedule for all town-owned facilities.
Facilities will be closed to walk-in traffic each year for a period in July, and between Christmas and New Year's Day.
The twice-annual deep cleaning was piloted in December of last year and will continue each year due to the development of COVID-19.
The July cleaning of Victoria Hall will take place this week from Tuesday to Sunday but town hall will be closed to walk-in traffic this Friday only. Staff will work remotely.
Phones will be answered and assistance to residents will remain available.
