Hazardous waste collection resuming

The Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program in Lambton County is resuming this Saturday.

Residents can dispose of hazardous items at no cost from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Clean Harbors Lambton facility at 4090 Telfer Rd. in St. Clair Township.

To try to reduce wait times, this Saturday, June 20 is restricted to residents with odd-numbered addresses. Those with even-numbered addresses can attend the event set for Saturday, June 27.

The household hazardous waste events were cancelled in March, April and May due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Physical distancing and other precautionary measures are to be taken.

Events are also scheduled for September and October.

Further information is posted here.
