A 26-year-old man faces drug trafficking charges after Anishinabek police checked on a vehicle parked along Ipperwash Road in Lambton Shores early Monday.

The vehicle check at about 12:19 a.m. resulted in officers from the Kettle Point Detachment locating suspected methamphetamine and fentanyl along with drug packaging material.

Police said the man in the vehicle was known to them and was in breach of a probation order.

Karl Pilz Jr. is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and three counts of breach of probation.
