OPP recover stolen vehicle in mud, arrest three suspects

A suspicious person complaint in Dawn-Euphemia has led to the recovery of a stolen vehicle.

Lambton OPP said at around 7:45 a.m. on April 17, police were called to Gum Bed Line where a vehicle was stuck in the mud.

OPP said further investigation revealed the vehicle and licence plates were stolen.

Three people from Brant County were arrested. Each is charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

A 36-year-old man faces an additional charge of possession of methamphetamine.

All accused were released and are scheduled to appear in Sarnia court on June 24, 2020.
